SLU-PP-332 5mg

Murine-equivalent preclinical research protocol for pan-ERR agonist studies.

SLU-PP-332 5mg

SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic pan-agonist of estrogen-related receptors (ERRa/b/g) studied exclusively in murine models for its ability to activate an aerobic-exercise gene program, enhance mitochondrial function, and improve endurance and cardiometabolic.

Reconstitution Summary

0.5 mL per 5 mg vial (10 mg/mL).

Storage Summary

Lyophilized frozen; reconstituted refrigerated.

Reconstitution Steps

  1. Draw 0.5 mL bacteriostatic water with a sterile syringe.
  2. Inject slowly down the vial wall; avoid foaming.
  3. Gently swirl until dissolved (do not shake).
  4. Label and refrigerate at 2 to 8 °C, protected from light. At 10 mg/mL, 1 unit = 0.01 mL » 100 mcg on a U-100 insulin syringe.

How It Works

SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic small-molecule pan-agonist of the estrogen-related receptors (ERRa, ERRb, and ERRg), with strongest activity at ERRa. In murine studies, acute administration activated an aerobic-exercise transcriptional program, increased mitochondrial respiration and fatty-acid oxidation in skeletal muscle, and improved endurance capacity and cardiometabolic phenotypes. The compound acts as an exercise mimetic by engaging metabolic pathways typically activated during physical training, without requiring the mechanical stress of actual exercise. All evidence to date is preclinical.

Benefits & Side Effects

  • Metabolic effects: Enhanced mitochondrial function, increased fatty-acid oxidation, improved glucose tolerance in diet-induced obese mice.
  • Cardiac benefits: Ameliorated heart failure through enhanced cardiac fatty-acid metabolism and
    mitochondrial function in preclinical models.
  • Endurance enhancement: Increased treadmill running capacity and muscle oxidative capacity in mice.
  • Renal effects: Reversed mitochondrial dysfunction and inflammation in aging kidney models.
Human safety unknown: No data on human tolerability, pharmacokinetics, or adverse effects exist.
